Specimens Rep - Matt "Crash" Whittaker

Hi, my name is Sac Matt “Crash” Whittaker, and I am now in the position to introduce myself as the new RAFCAA Specimen Rep’. A little about myself first;

Have been fishing since I was knee high to a grass hopper, my dad took me down to our local canal and I have never looked back. I’ve fished for everything that swims, but more often than not I can be found bivvied up for the weekend with my “buzzers” set high, & a kilo of boilies over my spot & my traps are set, “Carper” but don’t hold that against me!

I have been in the RAF for 8 years now and 6 & half of those years have been spent at Benson. I have been a keen match angler for the past 5 seasons or so, and have had the pleasure to fish with and against some of the finest maggot danglers in the Chiltern area, not to mention the countless times i've been spanked at many a RAF Champ’s.

Like I said i’ve dabbled at Coarse, Game & Sea fishing, noticeable catches include 20lb+ Pike, 34lb Carp & 141lb Yellow Fin Tuna. I’m no expert, but can’t get enough of fishing & love catching and seeing specimen’s being caught.
